TODAYS LESSON TO MYSELF:

If you’re having a sucky moment and you want some support but it comes to you attention that the person you’re talking to might be having a sucky moment themselves, the worst thing you can do is tell them about your sucky moment if it involves them in any way. Even if you feel nothing bad towards them about it.  No one wants to be involved with someone elses sucky moment when they’re having their own.  That’s not the way to get support or to support someone else
